On Spirituality and Fundamental Beliefs...
I believe in God, in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, in repentance and in the forgiveness of sin.
I believe in the "salvation by grace through faith", "Once save-always save".
I believe God is in control of everything and He allows everything to happen according to His purpose.
I believe God is merciful and just, a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
I believe "obedience is better than sacrifice". I believe leaders were appointed by God thus respect and obedience should be given.
I accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior on September 24, 1995 at International Baptist Church, Malaban, Binan, Laguna.
I was baptize on 1999 at San Pedro Bible Baptist Church. When we moved to Ireneville on 2008,
my family and I started attending Word of Faith Baptist Church, with which my entire family got to know Christ and were baptized.
On Families and Up-bringing...
Born in a poor family yet my parents include my education expenses in our budget.
My father was a bus conductor and my mother was a part-time rice cake vendor.
I was the first in the clan to finished college.
We were four siblings with me being the eldest and the only thorns among the roses.
I grew up in a house with four girls, Virtually no father figure to follow.
My father always leave before dawn and going home late in the evening due to nature of his work.
I grew up as an introvert type of person, seldomly play with the kids in my neighborhood.
Married to a woman from the province of Isabela. She is a former production data collector in a micro chip company,
a former proof reader in a programming company, a former rice field farmer, an orphan at the age of 9. Eldest of the four siblings.
An undergrad of accountancy. A woman with righteous principles and strong character brought about by life's tragedy.
We were blessed with four kids. Each of them has unique talent and personality.
The eldest is the most studious of them all. The 2nd one is poise and compose.
The 3rd has a competitive mentality. The youngest has musical inclination.
What is common from all of them is their academic excellence.
On Education and Skill Aquisitions...
I took Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at University of Perpetual Help System from 1990 to 1995.
I was a consistent Dean's Lister, sem after sem.
I passed the board exam for Registered Electrical Engineering 6 mos after graduating.
I held the position of Vice President for External Affairs in the Engineering student body on my last year. My primary responsibility
was to communicate engineering students power plant tour to respected target companies.
I was always a member of the engineering quizbee contingent to various external local contest.
I took my primary schooling at Pagkakaisa Elem School-a public school. While I took my secondary education at
Jacobo Zarraga Gonzales Memorial School of Arts and Trades from 1986 to 1990. My major course was Electrical Technology (Electrician). I also took
summer classes on Electronics Servicing on the same school.
On Career and Profession...
After the board exam, I worked in a fast-moving consumer-goods multi-national company for 27 years as a Product Supply Engineer.
I assumed several roles in different departments. I started as a Distribution Center Engineer. Next was Product Supply Engineer in a
Beauty Bar Soap line. Next role was a Start Up Team for a Detergent Powder production. I also got a special project on Intranet Web Development.
Next role was in High Speed Diaper Line. The line was then re-platform; same products but has totally new line. Last role was in Sanitary Napkin
production. I separated the company due to redundancy brought-about by organization restructuring.
I am grateful for the opportunities given to me by the organization. It made me exposed to different challenges and experiences. With them,
providing the training, tools and time to equipped me to solve issues. This made me grow and become a better manufacturing engineer.
On Web Development and Database Queries...
My webpage interest came when Microsoft develop a software Frontpage and Publisher98.
It is an easy-to-use graphical user interface, like a powerpoint that can be save as a webpage.
However, these were limited to static pages. No interaction can be made.
When I was given a special project; Anonymous Management-to-Employee Chat Room,
my co-employee taught me the fundamentals of visual basic language on client-side webpages,
including Windows ODBC connection to an SQL Server database. Windows PC, at that time, can host and stand alone
as a server for testing dynamic webpages. From there, I develop my skills and the rest, as they said, is history.
Website should be attractive , easy to use, complete functionality and requires management support for it to be successfull.
Among my projects that lasted for more than a year; Chat with Leadership- a chatroom were chatters were anonymous,
Defects Handling - logging of equipment defects for prioritization and fix planning,
Multi Cause Incident - safety incident reporting with automatic email notification,
Quality Event Reporting -reporting of defective products with auto email notifications,
Behavior Observation System- observation checklist for verifying safety acts.
On Hobbies and Diversions...
What makes me enjoy life or cope up stress via hobbies; out-of-town vacation, car driving, ebike driving,
flower garden, vegetable mini farming,
DIY home improvements, appliance repairs, gadget repairs , furniture repair. I mostly get my spares
and gardening plnts from the garbage area of our executive village.
An open garage-turned workshop/office for all my daily to-do's. Among my favorite tools are the portable
grinder, electric hand drill, soldering iron, multi-tester, vice grip, allen wrenches, combination wrenches,
screwdrivers, hammers, mallet, shovel, digging bar, garden hoe, rake. For office-type of work; laptop, printer,
ink syringes (for printer cartridge refills), mirco screwdrivers (for ipad, cellphone repairs, harddisk replacement).
On Struggles and Blessings...
One has to understand that Christian life here on earth is a life more on hardship and sacrifice than convinience and pleasure.
One has to deny himself, carry his cross-daily. For the love of God and in the service of His church requires full of yourself.
Complication arises when a man has earthly goals and priorities. When he loves his family more than God.
For all the conflicts and complications arising from prioritizing and resource allocations-
there is a God who is in control and will provide. It is man's logical mind that questions God's sovereignity. Like:
for all life's problem resolution-will you be using logic or faith? And this is also my dilemma; I believe God's time is perfect time,
but when God seems quiet for the longest time, when prayers seems unheard, when pain or hunger corrupts one's mind - then,
just maybe-you have to ask; am I bounded by a curse? As a Christian, we are all aware that life is short, that everything here will come to pass,
that we have eternal life in heaven. Wether it is a curse, unanswer prayer or any unexplained incident-it will all comes back to a question:
Where is your FAITH?
As far as my life is concern, I can tell that these are God's divine intervetions; (1) My wife's healing from COVID19.
(2) My son's healing from Steven Johnson Desease. (3) My daughter's recovery from convulsion due to high fever.
(4) My daughter's healing from fractured arm. (5) My youngest son accident that requires stitches.
(6) My passing of board exam. (7) Heart attack recovery . (8) Full payment for all credit cards and loans.
(9) Japan trip expenses for exchange student program despite of financial crisis and visa application time constraint.
(10) Care giving to my COVID-ill father.
